MEET Stephen J. Hall
Stephen J. Hall, is a Montrealer with worldly views and tendencies to explore - beyond the city, beyond the great outdoors, and especially beyond face value. His uncanny humor and approach allows his clients to better understand the world of finance, from a different, clearer, set of lenses.
Stephen’s journey as a Financial Advisor began in 1996 at Sun Life. His drive to bring people more freedom and options lead to his transition in 2002 as a Financial Security Advisor, a Certified Cash Flow Specialist licensed in Quebec, Ontario, and New Brunswick. Committed to better servicing his clients, Stephen joined forces with Rean Lawand and created Intention Financial Group Inc. in 2021.
Stephen’s unique ability of helping others build and preserve wealth is only matched by his dedication to do so, without compromising their freedom. An enthusiast of travel, wood working, music, NFL Football, NHL Hockey, geopolitical events, gastronomy and craft beers makes him a storyteller at heart. People who know Stephen will tell you he’s a master of trivia and (sometimes even useful!) insights. These same sound bites are what come through when clients meet with him to review their financial plans and share their visions. He keeps a bird’s eye view, while organizing the details of their financial canvas in a way that promotes better decisions and peace of mind.

MEET Rean Sayegh Lawand
Rean Sayegh Lawand, born in Dubai first came to Canada at the age of 3 and has since lived in Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, and Montreal. Her love for travelling, especially by plane, inspired her to pursue her pilot’s license as a young adult. Today, Rean elevates her clients with a deep understanding of finances that puts them in the cockpit and heading to a finer destination in their own lives.
Rean began in the Financial Services industry in 2000, working as an independent insurance agent as she worked on her investment license. She joined CIBC in 2004, first as an Associate, then as a Senior Advisor and eventually a Branch Manager when she left in 2015 and made the decision to become an independent Advisor in 2016. She started working as an independent advisor with Hub Capital / Financial in 2017, which lead to her partnering with Stephen Hall to create Intention Financial Group Inc. in 2021.
Rean’s commitment to people’s well-being makes her someone easy to share dreams with. And she always takes her clients’ dreams to heart; in the same way Walt Disney keeps the magic alive in every movie released. Look out for Rean’s watch (and watch out for her perseverant nature!) something she may have learned at goalie training. Rean connects with, and protects her clients in a way that only a goalie can guard the net against danger.
